Visit WEN at Davie Day (11 am to 8 pm, Sat, Sept 10) on Davie Street near Thurlow

[Updated 7 pm, 10-Sept THANKYOU to all who visited the WEN table. We will post photos and survey results soon.] For the second year, West End Neighbours will participate in Davie Day this year (11 am to 8 pm, Saturday, September 10, 2011). Visit  for events schedule and list of exhibitors. We invite you to visit us for information and a chat about West End issues, particularly in the context of rezoning and development and a soon-to-begin community planning process. Volunteers are welcome. We will have art by Tiko Kerr on display, plus a hot-spot map of the West End, plus t-shirts and buttons for sale, information materials, and free giveaways. Have a special look at the artist’s impression of two towers how the eastward view up Davie will look soon (Burrard Gateway 50+ storeys and Prima Properties 30+ storeys on the current Davie Village Community Garden). Our table is on the southeast corner of Davie and Thurlow. See you there!

Learn how to have a say in the future of your community. A planning process is coming soon. Hot issues are rezonings, development, demolition, construction, livability, affordability, housing, amenities, heritage, greenspace and more. Decisions made will last for generations.
