Big tower developments are now coming fast and furious in the West End. The Wall Financial Corporation website now has a public invitation to an open house, shown below, for Thursday, October 8, 2015. West Enders may wish to go and learn how the West End Community Plan has enabled this type of development, and some of the implications.
(Note that the map appears to have North at the bottom.) Text of the invitation is copied below.

The Wall Group invites you to a public open house to share a proposal for the redevelopment of 1059 + 1075 Nelson Street.
We would like to introduce you to our preliminary redevelopment vision — which will create more affordable housing for the West End, together with home ownership opportunities. We invite you to be part of this dialogue about community building, and hear how our proposal meets the goals of the West End Community Plan and other relevant City policies.
